  This is our third year at KLD Airforce after being at another dance school for 5.5 years. We started off in the recreational cheer class - which is a casual class to see if you like cheerleading and learn the basics. Then we joined the Competitive Program which is for the more serious cheerleader and/or dancer.

  Both my girls grew up dancing with KLD. It was the most amazing time in their lives and ours! Kerryn's attention to detail is like no other (also her staff) and the results of competitions speaks for itself. It was always a friendly environment and more like family. I would highly recommend KLD.

  This will be my daughters 5th year at KLD and it has been the best experience for her. She has made some life long friends and has learnt a lot and is still learning new things everyday. Cheer and Dance at KLD has helped make her a very confident, disciplined, determined and social person. She loves KLD and I dont think she will ever leave. I am more than happy with my child being at KLD and I personally think the staff are wonderful and do a great job and I have never had any problems communicating with them. They expect their students to work hard, be respectful, be disciplined and be committed and that is a good thing to teach children it helps them in the real world.

  Ridiculously expensive, my daughter signed up for recreational cheer & we had to buy all uniforms & cheer shoes BRAND NEW. We weren't allowed buy second hand from older kids. This on top of the excessive costs of actually going to classes, makeup & a special cheer outfit for end of year preformance. Overpriced & unfriendly.

  Over the years, I have seen my beautiful girl grow with confidence, understand the importance of being part of a team and supporting others whilst enjoying what she loves most - Cheer & Dance. The values she has learnt in such a young age has made her into a strong, committed, disciplined, responsible and loving young lady that I attribute to the amazing teachers, all KLD Staff and awesome friends we have made along the way.

  Yes she attends classes when she is injured or unwell however this is a team sport and everyone counts - especially just before competitions and concert (Term 3 and 4) If she has been really sick we have communicated with the club and made a decision from there whether she should attend or stay home.

  I believe that my daughter is learning valuable life skills from this type of training. It may not be for everyone however as a parent and student you do know up front what you are signing up for.

  In my opinion this is a fantastic small gym - cheer and dance school with fantastic coaches - if your daughter or son are serious about their dance and/or cheerleading and like a family feel environment.

  At KLD it's all about growing and enhancing our kids skills & strengths in a positive environment and results speak for themselves no t only at competitions but all year round.
